Who cares if it looks like a brick? The 1st Generation iPod (also known as the 2nd Generation iPod) is the first iPod that Apple released. But did you know that many people love these iPods just as much as the newer models? In fact, the first generation iPod battery is probably the easiest one to replace - if you use tools and instructions that were specifically created to open the player without breaking anything. So checkout our second generation iPod batteries and get that work of art working again with a brand new iPod battery from the leaders in the field.

"Thank you for sending the replacement battery for my ipod. It's installed and charging as I write this. On that note, it's a nice touch (which I think more companies should adopt) to have included the return envelope... postage paid no less!"

"Let me tell you about my last skiing trip. It all started when my family decided that our usual spring break trip with the kids was getting old. See, we usually go out to Canyon Lake on the boat and stay at the boat house for a few days. My wife and I run our own business and it has given us the financial independence to be able to take a week off with the kids. We decided on Taos, New Mexico for the vacation. I packed up all the essentials, including my iPod which will soon be the focus behind this story. Our trip was going great, and since I've been an accomplished skier for most of my life I got great pleasure from having my iPod in my jacket pocket while I cruised down the slopes. Everything was going great and the third day I decided to try out the black diamond slopes for the afternoon while my family stuck to the easier trails. I was doing fine, much better than I expected, and decided to try a double black slope named “Devil's Backbone”. Boy that one was tough. I even stopped listening to my iPod while I negotiated the moguls to finally reach the ski lift below. Feeling good I pulled out my iPod and after securing my headphones decided to get on the lift. Well, at the last minute someone decided to jump on the lift with me and my iPod fell out. As I was going up the lift I saw the couple behind me run over my beloved iPod with their skis! They met me at the top of the lift and returned my iPod but the screen was clearly smashed. Oh well, I decided. I could easily get it repaired when I got back. After returning from the trip I decided to look up some good iPod repair companies. I decided that the most reputable iPod and new iPhone repair places with the most reasonable repair price were actually found on line. I sent off my iPod to get repaired and for only fifty or so dollars I managed to get it repaired and sent back with a newer, longer lasting battery. The case was still a little scratched, but that didn't really matter. The scratches made for a good way to start a conversation! Now I will be sure to look up the same company on line if I ever have a repair need again in the future."
